What do you get when you combine bourbon (whiskey) and bourbon (biscuits)? You get Bourbon Bourbon. That's just how maths works. Next question: what happens when you add candy canes to that equation? You get Bourbon Bourbon Candy Cane, of course! We've checked all our sums, and this is the result – a lip-smacking, festively-themed, deliciously surprising spirit made with Kentucky bourbon, dark chocolate, vanilla, and peppermint, alongside with actual bourbon biscuits and real candy canes! It's one of those flavour combos that you don't really see coming, but there is definitely a flavour triangle there. Mint and chocolate is good. Chocolate and bourbon is good. Bourbon and mint is good (hence why the Mint Julep is so popular). When you look at it like that, you're left thinking, "Oh, well yeah, this totally makes sense. How'd this not happen before?"
Brilliantly chocolatey – freshly baked brownies and chocolate buttons. A waft of fresh mint sweetness cuts through the richness, before diving back into rounded vanilla and caramel.
Soft butterscotch and oak warmth up front, followed shortly by mint chocolate chip ice cream in a wafer cone, with a drizzle of chocolate sauce. A hint of malty, biscuity chocolate develops a smidge later.
Quite buttery on the finish, with light hints of peppermint leaf sticking around.
The bold introduction of candy cane minty notes most definitely makes for a tasty twist on this already cracking combo.
Really loved this, just enough of a hint of the biscuit. A sickly liqueur it is definitely not, its a fabulous mix of bourbon and as said a hint of chocolate biscuit
Does what it says on the label, combines the flavours of bourbon and candy canes resulting in a spirit which tasted like mint choc chip ice cream. If that’s your thing go for it but overpriced for what is a novelty
Absolutely delicious in an old-fashioned. Was worried that this might be cloying but the sugar is in check and the flavours blend perfectly.
