A vibrant non-alcoholic spirit from Bax Botanicals over in Yorkshire, making the most of natural botanicals. Sufficiently herbal, this Verbena expression takes the plant and distils it alongside other botanicals. The brand is heavily focused on sustainability too, with the labels made from left over sugar cane. Verbena's flavour profile is robust enough to simply serve with tonic and a slice of cucumber.
Pleasingly bitter, with complex herbal and green grassy notes bringing a certain freshness.
What a refreshing change Bax Botanics Verbena is. I started buying the range to alternate my usual gin and tonic with a non alcoholic option after being tired of being only able to source ‘kids drinks’. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this is and even some nights skip the gin and just have Bax Botanics. Will definitely be on my drinks cabinet at all times.
