Æcorn
Æcorn is a range of non-alcoholic aperitifs created by the very same folks who made those lovely Seedlip non-alcoholic spirits. A theme is emerging here... Anyway, these aperitifs are created using a combination of Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay grapes, alongside some choice botanicals. For the Bitter expression, they've gone for a somewhat citrus-forward approach, alongside hints of bay leaf, oak and quassia.
Bitter peels and juicy grapefruit, balanced by earthy herbs and a touch of pine resin.
Love it for a non alcoholic drink, with tonic or sparkling water. It hits the spot!

Something a bit like a virgin negroni, perhaps, although that doesn't quite do it justice. The strongest recommendation for an n/a tipple I can give: a mate and I intended to have a long, after-dinner booze-a-thon, started into a bottle of this instead, and finished the night sober, having never missed the whisky.
