As sherry is such an important part of the whisky-making process at Port of Leith Distillery, the folks over there have decided to spotlight the delicious oloroso sherry used to season its casks. Sourced from Bodegas Bodegas Barón, a sherry producer with over four centuries of history, this bottling of oloroso is deliciously dry, and full of fruit, and nutty spices.

The only way I could describe this was vile The taste and smell left nothing to be desired in anyway - only option was to pour the whole bottle down the sink
Being usually very partial to a Fino, this sherry came as a pleasant surprise very dry but darker. Very enjoyable.
