Another brilliant rum from Velier, this name titled Velier Royal Navy Tiger Shark. it's made with a blend of Caribbean rums, all distilled in pot stills - though Velier are being a touch secretive when it comes to letting slip which distilleries the spirits came from. Never-the-less, this expression impresses on all fronts, and would make a most excellent post dinner drink...
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Intense ripe banana, raspberry and mango, fresh kitchen herbs, some coastal salinity.
Palate
Chocolate orange, cigar box, clove and cardamom spiciness with some old oak thrown in there for good measure.
Finish
Another helping of raspberry, now with raisin and sultana in support. Banana notes stick around too, with brown sugar and liquorice.
