Uitvlugt Demerara Rum 1995 (bottled 2022) - Flashback (Swell de Spirits) 50cl

For this expression in its Flashback series, indie bottlers Swell de Spirits have bottled a little piece of history. This single cask rum from the Uitvlugt distillery in Guyana was distilled in 1995, four years before the distillery closed, and matured in a rum cask until 2000, and an American oak cask after that. It was bottled in 2022 with an outturn of only 264 bottles, at cask strength, with no added colour or chill filtration.
