From the very same people in Cornwall behind the Tarquin's Gin range comes Twin Fin Spiced Golden Rum! This expression brings together pot-still rum from Jamaica and column-still rum from the Dominican Republic, which is combined with a spice mixture including vanilla and orange that's distilled in a flame-fired copper-pot still. To this, a touch of Pedro Ximénez sherry is added, and it's then allowed to rest over oak chips.
Clove-studded orange, guava, a touch of banana, very slightly grassy at points, molasses, soft oaky smoke, brandy snaps and gingerbread.

Not spiced, not nice......incredible smokey after taste that just lingers way to long a bit like the UK entry on euro vision.
To be honest the banana was a bit overpowering and spoilt the overall taste and the aftertaste hangs on a bit too long. Wasnt horrible by any means but had enough after 2 glasses.
Pop the cork and you are greeted by a wonderful aroma of toffee and banana, and Christmas pudding and cream. Pour a glass and anyone who walks in the room will say "What is that lovely smell?". Tastes like rum meets banoffee pie with extra toffee sauce. Wonderful deep flavour. No nasty chemical taste at all. Put on a 1960s original Trojan Ska album, some jerk chicken on the barbecue or a pasty. Fantastic stuff!
Fuck what the haters are saying about this rum. I struggle to enjoy drinking anything else after drinking this. I started collecting bottles at the start of the second UK lockdown, this was the first bottle I added to my collection. I have tried so many runs since then, Appleton, Kraken, Fleur De Cana, Dark Matter, Dead Man’s, Lamb’s, Diplomatco (Exclusiva, Mantuano and Blanca). I can tell you right now, my top are Pull the Pin!, Bumbu, and at the top, this Rum. It’s lifechanging, i’m currently down 4 rum and cokes all using my 3rd bottle of this. My lady turned one of my empties into a hand soap dispenser. This is the peak of rum, it doesn’t better. Take my word for it. From a second year University of Birmingham Philosophy student who has used lockdown as an excuse to day drink and enjoy finer rums. I can tell you, this is it, this is serotonin in a bottle
Absolutely love it! Such a rich flavour, one of our favourite dtinks
