Those Thompson Bros. up in Dornoch teamed up with Bar Tre in Hiroshima for an independently bottled Jamaican rum! This JMH marque rum was distilled back in 2001, and aged in a single cask for 19 years before being bottled up at a generous 61% ABV, with an outturn of only 271 bottles - each one featuring the artwork of Yu Kurahashi on the label. Incredibly fascinating rum, this one.
Bold, subtly oily, big pineapple and peach notes with a good helping of oak spice.
