Rummers Golden Rum, I did not know what to expect - but wow this stuff is incredible! From the first sip, you get a smooth, warming taste with hints of caramel, vanilla, and just the right amount of spice. I read lots of reviews about this rum, and decided to give it a try. I really wish i hadn't, and i have to say I dont understand the hype about it. It tastes thiin and metallic, no depth at all. I have only tried it neat, so will try it with a mix, but that would just mask the fact that it is not very nice. A disappointment; I wont be buying it again.

I’d not heard of Rummers, until I read an article in the Sunday Times, that recommended the brand. When the bottle arrived - branding and quality is excellent - it felt premium in my hand. The actual love is lovely and well worth a try - neat is was super- smooth, and maturing in the ex-bourbon casks really works. It was great served with ginger beer and a wedge of lime - this was amazing.
Saw this on social media this week and ordered a bottle. The Branding is really cool - and the I didn’t realise the name comes from the word Rum. You learn something new everyday. Lovely Rum - very aromatic - super smooth - great on it’s own. The sweetness from the bourbon casks makes it incredible in cocktails. Can’t wait to try the others Rums in the range
