The Kromanti Distillery
This rum from Kromanti is infused with plantain for a vibrant, characterful profile. Selected when it is ripe but not too sweet, the plantain is dehydrated and infused with a base of aged rums from Venezuela alongside sugar cane juice-based rum from the Dominican Republic, offering up delicate grassy notes in the depths.
Really like their Tamarind rum but fell in love with the plantain rum. It goes so well with simple mixers and is really smooth.
I happily bought this for Christmas last year since seen me through many other celebrations. The rum is full of flavour and goes well in cocktails or simply straight or with ice. Highly recommend
like my rum, me. I’ve had some great ones, some not so great ones. But this one hits different. Didn’t know what to expect of a plantain rum, but this did not disappoint. Great on its own , but also a killer ingredient as a mixer. Don’t sleep on this one, trust me.
Not the best flavoured rum I’ve tasted but certainly not the worst
