You might look at the label on the excellent That Boutique-y Rum Company bottling of 9 year old rum from a secret Jamaican distillery and think it's about astronomy and distant solar systems, but really, the subject is much closer to home. It's rum. Makes sense, right? Those floating orbs aren't planets, but visual representations of rum production elements and quantities, like sugarcane (the big one), demerara sugar, molasses, unaged rum and aged rum.
Batch 3 is a release of 872 bottles.
Wow, those are some seriously ripe pineapples! Layers of toffee, dried fruit and vanilla on top.
The theme continues in the mouth. Pineapples are joined by peaches, mangoes, banana and guava. It’s like a fruit salad that’s been left out in the sun.
Those pineapples don’t go away, also toffee and salted caramel. Very long.
Massively constructed rum. Sip neat or just a few drops will transform your cocktail.

Bought batch 3 off back of review by Steve Thebarman, plus tasting notes on here. Expected ‘Stiggins Fancy’ vibes - was disappointed. My nose isn’t great, but I get strong alcohol (ethanolesque) caramel, pineapple hints & funk. Taste: alcohol, caramel, weak pineapple & bitterness. with an ice cube/water still not Stiggins Fancy! Not a sipper for me. Works with pineapple juice. Not bad but If you want pineapple stick to SF. I drink/like: Plateray XO, Appletons 12, SFPR, Chairman’s Reserve.
