A rum from Australia? Whatever next? Well, we'll have you know that Australia has a long and proud rum-making tradition. This was distilled from molasses in 2012 and aged in first fill ex-bourbon casks for six years in the warmth of Australia before spending another four years ageing in Britain. It was bottled in June 2022 at cask strength with no colour added or chill-filtering.
Black cherries, citrus fruit, and liquorice with cloves, coconut, and vanilla.

Nice red flower aroma with vivid fruity, not as the ripe tropical style as Long Pond or Hampden, it is closer to peach/orange; a little bit vanilla and spicy. Delicate taste and strong body; Long finishing. If you like Velier Beenleigh 2006, this one even better!
