St Aubin Agricole Rhum Vanilla is a delicious, laid back rum combined with vanilla grown on the St Aubin plantations in Mauritius. The sugary addition from the vanilla makes this an excellent rum for those with a sweet tooth.
Tried this neat as a sipping rum and its awful. Its just bearable as a mixing rum. I won't buy again.
Just made myself a cafè lattè with this wonderful golden rum which was a gift from the hotel in Mauritius where my wife & I got married nearly 5 yrs ago it also goes very well on the rocks
Very herbal, more so than the vanilla element for me. There's also A6 aroma of damp wood, which is a bit outputting. It does grow on you and there's nothing wrong with it, but I'd probably not purchase again.
It is truly one amazing rum. The best out there. Buy it and try it. Its good
This is the best rum, so smooth & brings me back to drinking vanilla rum on a Mauritian beach, the only criticism I would have is it goes down too quickly!
