Spytail Black Ginger Rum is made in France using a blend of Caribbean rum aged in barrels with a selection of spices, most notably ginger (inspired by a 19th century recipe).
Brown sugar, spicy fresh ginger root with a kick of cinnamon, tropical fruits.

Great taste, nice on its own and even better as a mixer. Unique and strong ginger flavour, maybe not for everyone's taste, but this has been very popular with friends and family whether they are new to rum or not. Super cheap so time to order some more!
Really like this rum (but I am also a big fan of ginger). Really good for making a Dark n Stormy. This often comes up discounted on the ubiquitous A-Z buying site. When it does I always order one. Very happy polishing off a bottle of this with the girlfriend in front of a fire.
Far from a traditional rum, so probably won't be enjoyed by many rum enthusiasts. But personally I loved this. Great dark spiced rum with a unique ginger taste. Ideal with a couple of ice cubes and let it sit for a few minutes to take the edge off. Also makes a fantastic spiced rum and coke, but it's a shame to waste such tasty rum with a mixer.

Delicious alternative rum, the ginger really comes through on the finish. Lovely to drink on it’s own, but I paired it with fentimans cola and a lemon peel
