This White Rum from Siddiqui is an homage to the traditional siddiqui, as the word originally refers to the colloquial term for illegally-distilled alcohol in the Middle East. Inspired by the story of American oil workers over in the Middle East, the recipe comes from what the folks at the distillery call their 'Blue Flame Manual', which sounds rather mysterious. A bold unaged rum that holds its own in cocktails and the like. While Siddiqui is an American brand based in California, the folks from Penderyn in Wales produce it for the international market!
