“Got a bottle of this as a gift and the words, not sure if it’s any good…… Well I can confirm there is no doubt, it’s good. Nice sipping rum for sure. Smooth, liquorice type tastes, slight soft spice. Trying not to spoil it but I’m having it with lime and cola. Most enjoyable. Will have to knock up a pain killer cocktail with it ti put it to the test. ”

11-year-old rum from the brilliant Ron Santiago de Cuba. A deliciously spicy expression, with enough fruity esters and brown sugar notes to balance it out wonderfully.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Grilled pineapple, dusted with cinnamon and cumin. Black pepper develops. Green banana, caramel and perhaps a touch of Sherry.
