Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa 1796 70cl Rum
Customer Rating
“Beautiful delicious rum. Vanilla, chocolate, and leather on the nose, with a slight hint of oak. Taste wise, lots of Vanilla, caramel, chocolate, and a bit of citrus on finish. So tasty. This is best enjoyed neat or with one ice cube. My only complaint is it doesn't last enough, the finish nor the bottle. Buy it now you won't regret it. ”

Description
Santa Teresa 1796 is a superb single estate Venezuelan rum. Santa Teresa 1796 is made using the solera method (used more famously in the production of Spanish sherry). The rums in the blend are aged for between five and 35 years, resulting in a smooth, dry and balanced spirit that is perfect for sipping or serving in an Old Fashioned.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Caramel sweetness, toffee brittle, pepper. Cooked apple, foam banana sweets.
Palate
Vanilla and rich notes of butterscotch, molasses and chocolate. More of those banana sweet notes. Hints of Calvados, surprisingly...
Finish
Long, fruity finish with caramel and nuts.
