Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Butterscotch and gentle notes of burnt brown sugar, grilled pineapple, fragrant spices, plantain, toffee, a touch of mellow oak.

Palate Silky soft with caramel and muscovado, vanilla, toasted coconut, coffee, buttery notes toasted oak, toffee popcorn, tangerine peel.

Finish A floral touch of hibiscus arrives for the finish, backed by vanilla pods and fudge, wrapped up with elegant sweet fruit and subtle aloe vera.

Rum AND a Glass?
The glass is very similar to the Glencairn 'Copita', so worth perhaps £5/£6, therefore whilst the free glass offer applies, this is a good deal. The rum is smooth, but as you'd expect from a rum costing around £30, it's far from complex and doesn't have a great deal of body. But it's pleasant enough, for the price. However, take away the glass and I'd score it 3-Stars. I'm sure someone will find a cocktail this works in, but it's not a sipping rum.
