A delicious dark rum from Ron Pampero, Pampero Aniversario is made in continuous stills in Venezuela. It's full, rich and very fruity.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Molasses and chocolate. Hints of cocoa butter, creamy vanilla, soft spice and hay.

Palate Very oily. Smooth, supple notes of fruit and spice. A little cocoa and caramel.

Finish Vanilla and soft smoke on the finish.

Excellent Sipping Rum
Not available in NC. I always buy it in another state and bring it home. Caramel and aged oak and leather.

ok, but better on the market for the price.
An okish rum for the price, although my rum in this price would be Appelton, or Flor de canna, its certainly not 5*, we will keep that for caroni and Luxus.

One to try
Fantastic rum. I like sipping rums - this one is not too sweet, but smooth. It's also complex, lot's of nice flavours... and it came in a leather pouch!

Acceptable for £40
A decent smooth Rum as one would expect around the £40 mark and not pretentious like some others at this price range (gold of Mauritius) - Is it the best rum like someone stated below?, well, no, there is no 'best' rum, well apart from Caroni I suppose ;-)

Treat your self .
A superbly smooth moorish rum . Just not enough in a bottle. Rich vanilla spice and cream amazing length and complexity. One of the very best rums you will ever taste!

A superb dangerously drinkable rum . Try putting the top back in !
A Delicious rich Dark rum . Amazing aroma when sipped from a large red wine glass.
Complex pallet of coco and spice. Super smooth and o so drinkable straight or with a couple of drops of cold water to open it up.
