Another tasty cask-aged rum from Ron Larimar, hailing from the Dominican Republic. It was aged for five years, first in American oak, before it was moved to Oloroso sherry casks for a finishing period. Perhaps a contender for a Rum Old Fashioned?

Give this rum time!

I was not impressed with the first pour I had of this rum and vowed not to replace it. Tonight I had my 4th or 5th pour and things are quite different. The rum/sherry balance works well and for the money, I think this offers reasonable value. And yes, I will be ordering another bottle.
