Ron Barceló Imperial Maple Cask
A magnificent sipping rum from Dominican producer Barceló, released as part of the Rare Blends Collection. Produced from Dominican sugar cane grown in Barceló's own fields, the rum is aged in a variety of American white oak barrels with varying degrees of toast before it's blended and finished in maple wood casks for a rich, sweet profile, layered with vanilla, stone fruits, and gentle woody spice. One to enjoy in a Maple Rum Old Fashioned, we reckon.

Floral honey and soft stone fruits open the way for runny caramel, oaken vanilla, and rich notes of maple syrup, with dried fruit and woody spices developing in time.
