Two Swallows Cherry & Salted Caramel Rum 50cl

I received this rum yesterday and tried it last night, I was very impressed, I had it with coke, it tasted like cherry cola with an after taste or caramel, I don’t think this bottle will last long.

Was a little disappointed that the free gift advertised with every purchase, didn’t arrive 🤷‍♂️🤔

Rockstar Rums are in a class of their own! Love the layering of flavours that they provide. My favourite mixer with the cherry is lemonade and loads of ice! Just amazing!

This was a fantastic tasting drink, delicious flavours. Mixed perfectly well with lemonade but also amazing on its own. Definitely always going to have a bottle in the house. Will also be trying all the different Rockstar spirits in the range.

Would highly recommend to everyone.

Tastes lovely with coke, ice and a twist of lime. Refreshing change. Thinking of creating some cocktails with it over Christmas

Love this rum! It is very smooth and you can really taste both the cherry and salted caramel flavours. I have tried it with both cherry coke and Lemonade and both taste delicious. Seen a couple of negative comments about this rum which surprises me as friends who have tried this rum also think it is great. If you like smooth rum and are a fan of cherry and salted caramel flavours, you will love this! 🍒🥃😋

Absolutely love this. Tried it in black coffee as a winter warmer as well as with mixers. Its great to find such a versatile rum !!

This is my absolute favourite of the two swallows!! The flavours compliment each other brilliantly and goes perfectly with cherry coke! Hats off best rum around!!

I don’t like this at all! The flavours hit me in two waves. The first wave is the instant hit of the cherry, which bombarded my mouth with much appreciated pleasure and intensity. But then the second wave which is the savoury part of this rum, thanks to the salted caramel, is so intense it literally aggravated my throat giving it a burning sensation. And then if that wasn’t bad enough, it felt like I was getting heartburn with every swallow I took. So I had my fingers crossed that with a mixer, it would be more to my liking, but unfortunately that was not to be either. I tried this rum with blackcurrant both still and sparkling and then with Coca-Cola and finally with Pepsi Max Cherry, so you cannot say I didn’t give this rum every chance. But with every mixer I used, the salted aspect of this rum, was too much for my throat and heart, to bear. And believe me at £25 for a bottle that is only 50cl instead of the standard 70cl (what’s all that about!) I so desperately wanted to like this in any sort of capacity, to at least get some sort of value for my money. So if like me you have a sweet tooth, and you believe that savoury should go nowhere near sweet, then give this rum a swerve, because you will not enjoy it. And to make matters worse, I doubt you can use this rum as part of a cocktail either!

It basically turns out to be a hot cinnamon spirit. You can't easily tell that it is rum. Disappointing, especially considering how good the pineapple grenade is!
