Rammstein Rum

From popular German metal band Rammstein comes this rum blend, the product of a collaboration with Danish bottler 1423. The blend marries pot still rum from Jamaica and Guyana, and column still rum from Trinidad, which are aged in bourbon barrels. You don't have to drink it while listening to Rammstein, but come on, why wouldn't you?

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

A good spicy note straight away, building into ripe tropical fruit sweetness and earthy wood smoke, with spice returning on the long finish.

Reviews for Rammstein Rum
Disappointing
To vodka ish for me. Cannot taste flavours in it. Just evaporated alcohol feeling and burn.
Shame as I was hoping for a dark spiced rum. :(

Fabulous taste. More than just a name...
When I first heard of Rammstein Rum I was rather pessimistic, thinking like many others that it was a simply a gimmick.

But oh, how wrong I was! Bought for me as a birthday present, it has become an instant favourite that will certainly be replenished with another bottle soon. You can definitely taste strong Demerara notes with each mouthful, and the bourbon barrels clearly add to the interesting flavour. This is in no way just a marketing ploy, and is instead a very respectable rum.

This dark rum is not just a gimmick, with a taste reminiscent of the industrial fuel injected atmosphere of a rammstein concert this has become one of my favourite sipping rums on ice while blasting a bit of rammstein out in my living room.
My favourite band and surprisingly one of my favourite rums.

Poor naming
Why isn't this called "Rummstein"?
