This right here is the first rum from the Providence range, aptly titled First Drops. It was produced in Haiti at the Port-au-Prince Distillery - a distillery that was founded as a collaboration between the Barbancourt-Linge family (which has a long history of rum production in Haiti), Velier (the Italian independent bottler) and La Maison du Whisky (the French spirits retailer). This expression was made with a blend of rum distilled using fresh sugar cane juice and rum distilled using sugar cane syrup. Enjoyably light and refreshing rum, this one.
