One of the smoothest Rums I have tasted so far, you can almost forget it is booze ...... which can be dangerous LOL. Hints of Citrus fruits and Pineapple. Absolutely wonderful stuff.
This is a quality product. Very smooth, sweet, but not overly so, wonderful flavours, and for me it has a slight spicy aftertaste like pepper or chilli. Just a joy to sip on this neat. I am guessing the smoothness comes from the 2nd aging in Cognac barrels in France. A wonderful Rum at a reasonable price.
So much caramel, raisins and sweetness. A rum to drink with friends, for a nice evening.
