A superb Venezuelan rum joins the Plantation collection. Distilled in 2010, the rum spent its first eight years resting in bourbon barrels in the cellars of Destileri´a Sofa. A total of 22 casks were then shipped to France, arriving in the Charente region, where the rum was transferred to Ferrand French oak casks for a final four years.
Dense layers of roasted nuts, coffee, woody spice, and leathery oak are complemented by waves of vanilla, charred pineapple, mango, and banana chips.
