This colourful bottling is Plantation's homage to the Fiji Islands. Distilled from Fijian molasses, it's initially aged for around three years in the tropical climate in bourbon casks, before it's sent over to France for a secondary maturation in French oak for a year. A spicy, creamy and tropical affair, and a sure fire way to taste a sense of place! An excellent sipper, and it certainly stands up to being used in all sorts of cocktails. Plus, look at that iguana on the label! What a cheerful little fellow!
Nose: Cooked pear, crème brûlée, candied ginger and just a touch of smoke.
Palate: Toasted coconut and fried banana, shortly followed by dried fruit and spicy oak.
Finish: Lasting butterscotch, peach and ginger.

Not huge fan... was looking forward to trying it. It needs to breathe for a good 10 minutes to release the Superglue taste. Once you ha e done that nice rum.. but think there are better ones out there for the price

Another good solid Plantation offering. Fruity and yet those French casks also manage to leave a message with a wisp of smoke and ginger to finish. OK over ice, great with cola...

I know we all have different tastes, but I can't believe some of the reviews on here. It's one of my favourites at the moment. Very smooth and very easy to drink, in fact, too easy, I'm on my third bottle!

Noses and tastes flat and bland. Improves after some time opening but I struggle to get away from my first impression of 'wet cardboard'. Will concede it makes a reasonable old fashioned. I'll stick to Plantation's Jamaica Dry....much fruitier and much tastier.

Just when I thought Plantation couldn’t get better... this is outstanding. I will definitely be getting another bottle as mine seems to have evaporated!! Yum!!!

It's THE go to from plantation for myself it's quite sweet as most of theirs are but sublime flavours come out. Warm your glass before pouring and let it breathe for a good 20mins and you will experience what it has to offer. Hats off to maison ferrand and the Co for this one

It's good just not great, it's got nothing on the likes of xaymaca but I would definitely buy another, always neat just give it a breather
Just had a sneaky sip after delivery and wow this rum is smooth and tasty, I'm going to enjoy this!

Worst rum I’ve ever tasted! I recently bought two bottles, one as a gift which I’m in two minds wether to give now. A horrible after taste like it was cheap alcohol. Not impressed
