Plantation Guyana 2007
Plantation has released this intriguing 2007 vintage limited edition rum. From Demerara Distillers in Guyana, this blend of column and pot still rums aged for 13 years in bourbon casks, before crossing the ocean to France, to age for a further two years in Ferrand cognac casks. A cross-continental treat this one!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Coconut macaroons drizzled with dark chocolate, oaky vanilla, and subtle bursts of citrus.
Palate
Sticky dried fruits, with toasted hazelnut, warm spices, cacao nibs, and dark brown sugar.
Finish
Baking spices linger along with dark chocolate.
