From the Dominican Republic, produced by Oliver Rum comes Unhiq XO Malt Rum, a dark molasses rum. Of course, the spirit doesn't have any malt in it, rather the name refers to honey, and that this is a sweeter rum expression.
Fairly sweet, though not overly so, with caramelised brown sugar, vanilla, a good drizzle of honey, tannic oak and a dusting of cinnamon.
