An unaged rum from Madeira, Portugal - bet you weren't expecting that, were you? One of Madeira's best-kept secrets, these rums are intense and funky, with a distinctive note of olive running through them. Hence the funky olive king on the label of That Boutique-y Rum Company's O Reizinho bottling.

Super vegetal with sparkling green notes jumping from the glass. Pungent unripe banana and fresh green olives with saline seaweed notes and lively black pepper. There’s a slight nuttiness, too.
There’s even more of those green olive notes with that saltiness, backed with the green banana and gentle pepper. A classic, clean unaged sugar cane juice rum.

Lovely sweet grassy cane followed by herbal olive green aromatic banana notes on the nose. Even better on the palate with sweet, herbal, fruity, briny, delicious. Decent finish as well. Very unique rum and very much like clairin and yet distinctive in its own right. For the rum and coke crowd like the previous reviewer, pls stay away so you dont waste such good rums on your sugary coke infused palates and leave it for the rest of us.

Amazing. Notes of sugar cane juice make way for olive and olive brine. Vegetal and pungent. Tastes fantastic, clean, smooth and warming. Cola cubes, unripe banana and grassy on the palate. Amazing
