This limited release from Mount Gay’s Master Blender Collection highlights the lush influence of tropical ageing in Cognac casks sourced from Rémy Martin. Bottled at a punchy 58% ABV and non-chill filtered, it’s column-distilled rum aged for four years in French oak from Limousin forests.
On the nose, it’s rich with red fruit, orange zest, soft leather and vanilla.
The palate delivers juicy cherry, brown sugar, salted caramel and a firm oak grip.
The finish is bold, lingering on dried fruit and toasted vanilla with a whisper of warming spice.
