This aged rum is distilled by Montanya, based in the Colorado mountains! Distilled from local molasses, it's been aged for one year in freshly emptied American white oak barrels that previously held Laws Colorado whiskey. Before it's bottled, a touch of local honey is added, because the honey’s acidity helps amplify the the rum's flavour.
