A gorgeous Panamanian rum, bottled by Mezan! Distilled in 2010, the molasses rum was aged twice in separate sets of American white oak bourbon casks in both tropical and European climates. Lots of ripe, estery notes are balanced by spicy, woody hints. Brilliant stuff from the bottler, as always!
Candied orange and overripe tropical fruit, with fresh fig, green oak and lots of spices, namely ginger on a toasted coconut finish.
