This is a Spiced Rum from the Matugga Rum range, which was introduced in mid-2015. The rum is made with molasses from sugar canes grown in the rich, red soil of East Africa, and distilled in the UK. It's combined with a selection of spices resulting in fragrant notes of aromatic tea, lively ginger and a touch of earthy, oak-y warmth.

It’s not to my taste, it had a very strong unpleasant after taste I thought and there are so many better spiced rums out there for. Lot less than this price tag, I’m giving it two stars as I’ve tasted a lot worse than this before
My brother got me a bottle of Matugga Spiced recently, and i'm glad he did. Very strong flavour but in a good way! This one goes down too well and I have to limit myself a little so as not to drink it all too quickly. Everyone that I have donated a sip to has loved it, out of 50 odd spiced rums on my shelf this one's my partners favourite. A lot of spiced rums go overboard with the vanilla, these guys have produced a really good blend of spices without losing that proper rum base. Love it.
Bought a bottle before christmas to try. Very unique taste, really earthy character to it. Also had an issue with the stopper, and their customer service was absolutely second to none, great attitude, and obviously true rum romantics!
