Jamaica & Guyana Rum MoM

A properly delicious rum here, and it's one of our own exclusive Master of Malt bottlings! It's a marriage of aged and unaged rums from Guyana and Jamaica, and couples the molasses-rich depth of classic Guyanese rum with a characterful helping of Jamaican funk. A brilliant all-rounder – sip and savour this neat, make some mouth-watering Mai Tais, or add some aged depth to your Daiquiris, it won't disappoint. A release of 157 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Big juicy notes of charred pineapple, banana, guava, and rum and raisin ice cream are joined by vanilla sugar, butterscotch, and a touch of fresh leather.

Palate Soft and fruity to start, with tropical fruit salad and Drumstick lollies giving way to a lick of sticky toffee, cacao, and drying oak, with more of that cooked pineapple from the nose coming through.

Finish Chocolate coffee beans, poached stone fruits, rich, dark molasses, hibiscus, and underlying herbal cane, with drying oak and just a smidge of pepper for the finish.

Reviews for Jamaica & Guyana Blended Rum (Master of Malt)
Not bad
For the price its really good. The only thing that let's it down is that you can taste the colourant in it. Would be 5 stars if it was pure.

Super Value for Money
I do not do cocktails, I only sip my rum. For the price, this rum offers incredible value for money. Reasonable depth and complexity, supplemented by that great 51% ABV. Unbelievably smooth and well rounded, this is a highly affordable, everyday session rum that should hold its' own if you're into mixing. Note to self: Buy more before it's all gone!
