Market row Rum is made with a blend of rums from Jamaica, Barbados and the Dominican Republic, aged for five years in bourbon barrels before being redistilled with a selection of botanicals at the Brixton Distillery (it's in Brixton, as you might have figured out). Said botanicals were selected to bolster the flavours already found in the rums, and include the likes of vanilla, clove, black pepper, mace, allspice, black tea, hibiscus, red rose, caramel still spirits and oregano.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Light and fragrant, with plenty of floral vanilla coming through alongside the hints of hibiscus and rose. A slow build of earthy spice underneath.
