From the year 1987 comes this Seleccion Esplendida rum from Malecon. The rum, produced at an undisclosed distillery in Panama, is made using traditional Cuban methods of production. It then spent many moons resting in bourbon barrels, until it was bottled at 40% ABV in 2015.
Buttery pastry balanced by green vegetal notes, maple syrup, dried fruits, tobacco leaf, tropical white flowers with leather and sandalwood on the finish.
