This right here is a 21 year old Panamanian rum from the Malecon range, made with inspiration from Cuban production methods. After its lengthy maturation, this one has developed a flavour profile packed with oak, tobacco, cooked fruit and chocolate.
Enjoyably chocolatey, with a touch of red chilli as it opens. Cigar box, charred oak and leather give it richness, while notes of mango, orange and red grape cut through with enjoyable freshness.
