MacNair's Exploration Rum range was launched by the GlenAllachie Distillers Company in mid-2021, showing off yet more talent from Billy Walker and his team. The selection was launched with a trio of Panamanian rums, including this well-aged expression, which was matured for 15 years, including a second maturation in red wine, virgin oak, and ex-bourbon casks. Intensely rich and satisfying, this rum really is impressive indeed.
Cooked banana and warming oak, with orange zest and fresh pineapple giving it some levity.
