Libations Spiced Rum

You may not think of Yorkshire when you think of spiced rum, but the folks at Libations are here to change that! The rum is distilled in Yorkshire and aged in English oak, with the addition of locally harvested heather and honey. Other botanicals from further afield are also added, with Madagascan vanilla, cinnamon, orange peel and clove.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Oaky vanilla and notes of tobacco lead into spices and heather honey, with lingering clove-studded orange.

Lovely balance very approachable
Bought as a gift as I'm not usually one for spiced rum generally sticking to aged sipping rums. Really nice surprise, nicely balanced with far superior depth to many of the mainstream spiced rums I've had the misfortune or trying in the past.

Remarkably smooth
Fantastic tasting rum! Remarkably smooth, with a perfectly balanced taste of vanilla, cinnamon and orange, yet not overly sweet either. We found it paired perfectly with ginger ale and San Pellegrino Limonata (a must try). Beautiful branding & bottle to compliment the taste! We will be purchasing again.

Great rum!
Bought a couple of weeks ago, not a massive fan of overly sweet rum but was really pleased. Clove comes through nicely will definitely buy again

Tastes as good as it looks
Libations is more than just a stylish brand, it is a great tasting rum that is very versatile. Yorkshire definitely have a product here to be proud of and it has deservedly earned the central spot on my alcohol shelf at home.
