An intriguing expression from Labourdonnais in Mauritius, this rum has been aged in ruby Port casks, and macerated with vanilla pods, to create a rich, sweet, decadent spirit. We can see this combo of intense vanilla and red fruit notes working well in all kinds of cocktails, as well as being grand for serving over ice. Perhaps it'll even be excellent as part of a pudding...
