La Maison du Rhum Guatemala Botran Batch #5 is a column-distilled rum made from cane honey (filtered and evaporated sugar cane juice) and aged according to the solera principle: which means that young rums are blended with older rums throughout the maturation process. The casks used include old bourbon casks, re-toasted bourbon casks, and sherry casks.
