Something a little different here from the Kyabba Rum folks down in Cornwall. For this expression, they've eschewed the fruit notes in favour of lip-smacking salted caramel! Enjoyably sweet but not cloying, with a touch of salinity bringing balance to the flavour profile, this should be excellent sipped over ice on a warm evening.
Toffee, brown sugar, cooked fruit, cinnamon and a hint of sea salt.
If you're looking for a nice spiced rum, you'll likely be pleased with this. It's warm, rich and sweet. If you're looking for a rum specifically for a more caramel flavour, there are (in my opinion) better options. I do have a very sweet tooth, though.
