Based on the remote Outer Hebridean island, Barra Island Distillers has been churning out some delicious spirits while we wait for the arrival of its first whisky. Island Dark Rum is infused with botanicals like carrageen seaweed, cardamom, coconut and orange for a delicately sweet and spiced character, and should do very well mixed into a Rum Punch.
Had a few bottles of Barra rum now, just to make sure it’s good, and yes I can confirm, it is. No chemical aftertaste and smoooooth!
