Hattiers Reserve Rum

Produced by an independent rum blender in south Devon, Hattiers Premium Reserve Rum brings together aged rums from the Caribbean and South America. This includes rums from Jamaica, Guatemala, Panama and the Dominican Republic, which made their way to sunny Devon to be blended and brought down to bottling strength with soft Dartmoor water which is bottled at its source.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Apple strudel with a dusting of cinnamon and nutmeg. Sandalwood fragrance and grilled peaches later on.

Palate Still packing cooked orchard fruit warmth, though now with drying cocoa notes and a hint of gingerbread.

Finish Funky hints of overripe banana on the finish.

I bought a bottle of this when in Waitrose intending to buy a bottle of Diplimatico or Plantation XO , I am very glad that I chose this excellent offering by Hattiers. A lovely drop it is

Complexity for an experienced supper and very inviting for a newcomer to Rum.
Superb Rum. I’m normally into whisky but this has changed my approach to sipping. An exciting start as the bold, woody flavours present and delicious vanilla and soft notes emerge to finish. A pleasantly smooth texture lingers and leaves you wanting more. Complexity for an experienced supper and very inviting for a newcomer to Rum. Well done Hattiers! Makes a phenomenal Mojito too.

Smooth, interesting, delicious. A top drop.
Normally a whisky drinker but decided to try this Rum. It starts off creamy, develops a complex yet inviting mouth feel and finishes with a satisfying toffee/oak. Very impressed and keen to have another.....
