Magnificent Martiniquan rhum agricole from Habitation Saint-Étienne! This aged VSOP expression has been treated to a finishing period in Port casks, imparting a marvellous red berry twist to the herbaceous cane juice character. Top stuff for sipping neat, and should be ideal for some creative cocktails too.
Wafts of drying oak and dark red berries with vegetal sugar cane and grassy juices beneath. Aromatic notes of nutmeg, hints of chocolate, and a touch of citrus zest.
Dude, this tastes like plums... Hell yeah.
