A young, light rum from Green Island, a great producer of rum in Mauritius. This is distilled from molasses in a four column still, and the rum in the bottle is aged for between 3 and 5 years in oak. It is charcoal-filtered, a process which removes the colour of the spirit without negatively affecting the flavour.
Nose: Grassy and herbal nose, hints of pepper and honey, a little star anise too. Tangy…
Palate: Creamy and tropical with notes of coconut, cocoa, golden syrup, lime and black pepper.
Finish: Long and spicy.
