A rather exquisite single-estate molasses-based Mauritian rum from New Grove. This multi-vintage blend includes some exceedingly old whiskey barrel-matured rum, dating back to 1969, combined with a whole host of vintages spanning through to 2008. Expect a bold, fruit-forward sipper here, with decadent layers of buttery pastry, drying citrus peel, and sweet spices. It was bottled without chill filtration, and with no added sugar, or colouring.
