New Grove Double Cask Merisier Finish
From the Double Cask range of dark rums produced for the New Grove selection comes an expression finished in casks made of Merisier wood. It was initially aged in oak for 7 years, before being moved over to the aforementioned Merisier wood (you may be more familiar with it under its other name - cherry wood) for a final year.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Raisin and almond, followed by polished oak and a hint of candied citrus peels.
