Foursquare Fidelitas
A generously aged rum from Foursquare in Barbados, this is the tenth collaborative bottling between Luca Gargano of the legendary Italian company Velier and Richard Seale, owner of Foursquare. Distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2025, the blend of pot and column still rum spent 19 years maturing in bourbon barrels, followed by a final year in Marsala wine casks. With a profile that's bursting with juicy sultanas, stewed stone fruits, and rich dark berries alongside elegant old leathery oak, earthy brown sugar, and tobacco, it's an impressively indulgent old sipper.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Gourmand and concentrated, the nose opens with a rich aromatic profile combining toasted nuts (hazelnut, almond), sweet spices (cinnamon, vanilla), and a hint of orangette, adding both freshness and depth.
Palate
Smooth and well-balanced, the palate reveals remarkable complexity. Toasted coconut blends seamlessly with a delicate oak influence, while tonka bean brings a subtle layer of aromatic depth.
Finish
Long and rich, the finish develops on notes of black pepper, nutmeg, and a pastry-like character that adds indulgence and warmth.
